Full time and part time Early Years Practitioners at Daisychain Day Nursery

The opportunity has arisen for us to further increase our highly caring and motivated team due to the increasing demand in nursery childcare.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and proactive Early Years Professionals who will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for the children in our Snowdrops, Bluebells and Buttercups rooms.

The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a warm, caring approach with children, to have an excellent knowledge of the early year’s framework and have the ability to observe, record and report a child’s progress through our software package. The candidates will be required to plan exciting and stimulating activities.

The successful candidates must be able to work well and support colleagues within their teams and be good ambassadors for the nursery when communicating with parents, visitors, and other professionals.

We are a well established, privately run, full day care nursery set within the village of Whitley; the nursery is open between 8.00am and 6.00pm, a full-time position would be 40 hours a week, 3 full days and 2 half days (these are not fixed days), a part time position would be 25 – 30 hours per week; having own transport is preferable although we are commutable from surrounding areas by public transport. Daisychain is a very friendly passionate team providing the highest care and education for our children.

Ideally, we are looking for fully qualified early years practitioners holding a minimum of a level 2 and above in Early Years Childcare and Education. We require the candidates to have good organisational and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a nursery is essential. Daisychain provides staff uniform with the opportunity to add additional items yearly.

We will require two references, one from your current or most recent employer.

Daisychain is committed to the Safeguarding of all Children; this post is subject to an acceptable DBS check; the nursery will fund the initial outlay if necessary. The DBS is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
